The UFCW 360 Health and Welfare Fund is a multi-employer, collectively-bargained Trust Fund, which is jointly managed by representatives of several local unions of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, and of various participating employers. The Fund has approximately 3,500 active participants and 800 retired participants, plus eligible dependents.

The Fund provides a diverse variety of Health and Welfare benefits to its participants and eligible dependents which includes insured and self-insured benefit plans, managed care programs, preferred provider groups, and capitation arrangements with various providers. The benefits include hospital, medical, surgical, major medical, life insurance, vision, dental, prescription drug and weekly disability, as well as other ancillary benefits. Benefit programs are routinely customized to the specific needs of the bargaining parties. The Fund has several primary medical plans with variations to each. In addition, the Fund provides only ancillary benefits to some employers.

The employers who participate in the Fund include retail food industry employers, such as Acme Markets, as well as municipalities, nursing homes, hospitals and credit unions.
